The mountains are inviting with their variety, endless views and beauties. Many of them are higher than 2000 m (Mangart, Rombon, Krn, Kanin…). You may walk through untainted nature, visit one of the nearby mountains and taste the home made sheep’s cheese of Bovec. You may also test yourself with kayaking, cycling, feel the adrenaline of rafting, paragliding, canyoning and experience the rich cultural heritage, or simply enjoy the silence and calming murmur of the river Soča.

The river Soča, for its emerald green water, is also called the “emerald beauty”. Its beauty inspired many writers and poets, and was also one of the filming locations for the Disney film »The Chronicles of Narnia«.
